Welcome!
I am a licensed amateur radio operator (ham radio) based in Williamsburg,
Kentucky, becoming newly licensed around the beginning of 2026.
During my early teen years (1960's / 1970's) one of my favorite hobbies was C.B.
(Citizen Band) radio’s. A few years ago, I got the desire to get back into the
hobby and on December 28th, 2025, I pursued an amateur radio operators license,
passing the Technician (entry level), followed by the General (mid-level) test a
week or so later Jan 9, 2026. I will soon pursue the Amateur Extra
(highest level).
My main base radio is a Yaesu FTdx101MP with many peripherals, I still admire
vintage equipment of my youth years, I have a collection of working D-104’s and
am eager to attend a ham fest.
I am looking forward to all the new opportunities in the amateur radio world and
meeting a lot of the many operators around the world.
I am honored and pleased to exchange eQSL cards with anyone, just drop me an
email.
